Sermón: My Life Connected to the Life of God

John 15:5
I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in me, and I in him, he bears much fruit; for apart from me you can do nothing.

Introduction:
True life begins when we are connected to the source of all life: God. He is our sustenance, our strength, and our guide. Without this divine connection, our lives become empty and purposeless. This message will explore how we can establish and maintain an intimate relationship with God, so that His life continually flows in us.

1.The Source of Life: God
Acts 17:28:
“For in him we live and move and have our being.”
God not only gives us life, but He is the essence of our existence. To be connected to Him is to be filled with purpose, direction and peace.

Action:
Recognize God as the source of everything in your life. Spend time thanking Him every day for His presence and provision.

2.The Connection Begins with Jesus
John 14:6:
“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but by me.”
Our connection to God goes through Jesus Christ, who reconciles us to the Father and gives us access to His abundance.

Make sure you have surrendered your life to Christ as your Lord and Savior.

Deepen your relationship with Him through prayer and study of the Word.

3.Abiding in the Vine:
Constant Dependence John 15:4: “Abide in me, and I in you.”
Connection with God is not a one-time event, but an ongoing relationship. As we abide in Him, we bear fruit that glorifies His name.

Keys to staying connected:

Maintain a constant prayer life.

Feed daily on the Word of God.

Trust the Holy Spirit as your guide and comforter.

4.Breaking the Hindrances to Connection
Isaiah 59:2:
“Your iniquities have made a division between you and your God.”
Sin, doubt and discouragement can sever our connection with God. It is crucial to identify and remove these obstacles.

Confess and repent of your sins.

Reject the lies of the enemy that seek to separate you from God.

Renew your mind with the truth of the Word.
(Romans 12:2).

5.Live a Fruitful Life
Galatians 5:22-23:
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance.”
Being connected to God produces visible fruit in our lives that impacts others and glorifies God.

Ask the Holy Spirit what areas of your life need more fruit.

Allow God to transform your character and relationships.

6.Connection is Strengthened in Community
Hebrews 10:24-25:
“Let us consider one another to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together.”
The church is a place where our connection to God is strengthened through fellowship and mutual support.

Get active in your local church.

Seek out mentors and spiritual friends to help you grow in your faith.

7.Connection Manifests in Purpose
Ephesians 2:10:
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works.”
When we are connected to God, we live with an eternal purpose, doing His will and expanding His kingdom.

Discover the gifts and talents God has given you.

Serve God and others with passion and excellence.

Conclusión:
The God-connected life is a life filled with purpose, power and fulfillment. As we abide in Christ, overcome obstacles and live in community, we experience the abundance of His presence and the manifestation of His plan in our lives.

Moral:
“A life connected to God is a life flowing with His love, His peace and His eternal purpose.”
